At Unconventional Diner, modern comfort food is always on the menu, and for the first time this year, diners can choose from either a to-go package or dine in. Also embracing a new tradition for 2024, corporate pastry chef Kaity Mitchell will bake whole seasonal pies for its Holiday Bake Shop that can be ordered separately or added to any Thanksgiving to-go order. Flavors include pumpkin, maple-bourbon pecan, and apple crumble and cost $40 each or $110 for all three.

#2 Nina May
Chef and owner Colin McClimans and owner/beverage director Danilo Simic will be offering multiple Thanksgiving dine-in and to-go options at Opal, Nina May, and the soon to be opened Elena James in Chevy Chase. At Nina May, a chef’s choice menu will be served family style. Meanwhile at Opal, a three-course prix fixe menu is available, with additional add ons, starters, and sides.
#3 The Saga
The Saga in West End will be open on Thanksgiving. Its three-course, $95 meal includes a first course of autumn salad (house salad mix, crispy Brussel Sprouts, roasted green beans, stuffing crumbles, goat cheese, and pecans). Next up is the “Thanksgiving Dinner Feast” (turkey breast, Joël Robuchon mashed potato, gravy, cherry and cranberry sauce), and dessert is pumpkin pie topped with a rum raisin cream.

#4 Moon Rabbit DC
Chef Kevin Tien’s Thanksgiving menu is inspired by American dishes with a Vietnamese twist. This year, he is offering guests a taste of his childhood with a take home tasting menu. The $296 package feeds four and includes the likes of turkey breast with duck andouille sausage and pho-spiced turkey gravy, roasted sweet potato with chili glaze, rustic cheese mashed potatoes, miso creamed spinach, and pastry chef Susan Bae’s miso sweet potato pie with whipped white chocolate and caramel-curry pecans.
#5 Lincoln
Lincoln Restaurant offers a grand Thanksgiving feast with highlights like bourbon-brined roasted turkey, beef tenderloin, and a variety of gourmet sides, including mac & cheese and grilled leek gratin. The dinner is priced at $71 per adult and $32 per child (ages 12 and under) and also includes takeout options for those preferring to dine at home.

#6 Annabelle
Annabelle Restaurant provides a prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu at $85 per person, with seating from 1 PM to 8 PM. This upscale meal includes a choice of starter, main course options such as roast turkey and pan-seared sea bass, and desserts like pumpkin cheesecake, with classic sides available at an additional cost.
#7 Bresca
Bresca will officially be open for Thanksgiving, offering a special tasting menu for $195 per person. Satiate yourself on a spread of dishes like smoked mussels with saffron emulsion and basil or truffle choux with taleggio mornay to start. Main courses consist of brioche stuffed turkey with turkey sausage, jus gras (pan drippings) gravy and endive, or wagyu zabuton steak ($35 supplement) with black garlic, beef jus, and romaine.
#8 The Inn At Little Washington
The DMV’s sole 3-Michelin-starred restaurant is promising a curated menu featuring Petrossian Tsar Imperial caviar with Chesapeake crab and cucumber rillette and a carpaccio of big-eye tuna and swordfish with wasabi sorbet. Main course selections are turkey with cornbread apple sausage pecan stuffing and grilled king lamb chop with rosemary on lentils du puy. Finish with warm Granny Smith apple tart with buttermilk ice cream and pear, chocolate, and butterscotch bar with candied pine nuts and lemon confit.
