Originally from Portland, Oregon, Jenn transitioned from a career in technology to becoming one of Washington, DC’s top real estate agents 14 years ago. Beyond real estate, she has also founded several ventures in the fintech and settlement sectors.

In 2014, Jenn was an original founding agent at Compass, working directly with CEO Robert Reffkin to launch and expand the brand across the DC Metro Area. She then went on to become the founder and CEO of Jenn Smira & Co., which became the #1 Compass team in the DMV in 2019, 2020, and 2022, and is currently ranked the #3 large team in all of DC as of 2025. Today, she leads a powerhouse team of 16 agents, local experts across residential real estate, commercial transactions, and new development.
