Where To Get Your Christmas Tree In DC

Lifestyle

Nothing says festive quite like a newly-cut tree and the scent of fresh pine.

Whether you’re looking to buy a pre-packaged spruce or chop down one yourself, here are the best local places to find your seasonal centerpiece this year!

Dan & Bryan Trees: Widely known as DC Christmas Tree royalty, Dan & Bryan Trees has been around for over half a century. Over that time, they’ve supplied trees for the likes of senator Edward Kennedy and first lady Barbara Bush — not to mention their role in providing the White House Christmas tree back in 2009. Formerly known as Sundback Trees, the farm specializes in Douglas and Fraser Firs and has trees of all shapes and sizes. Their DC location has freshly cut trees, but if you’d like to cut your own, make sure to head on out to their Shepherdstown Farm!
