Where To Celebrate Winter Restaurant Week In DC

Lifestyle

What better way to shake up your wintertime routine than by digging into DC’s annual restaurant week? Running all week through the 22nd, this year’s festivities bring together hundreds of local restaurants where patrons can enjoy multiple-course brunches and prix-fixe dinners — without breaking the bank.

Not sure where to start? Here are the participating restaurants at the top of our list — from tried-and-true haunts to spirited newcomers on the scene. Dig in!

#1 Moon Rabbit: Craving a splashy meal? This popular Wharf restaurant offers both classic menu items and new dishes for both lunch and dinner this week. At lunch, choose between two options for each of the three courses, including pandan milk buns, Sichuan chili garlic noodles, and an ube mochi blondie. The $55 dinner, meanwhile, rotates in scallion roti, braised pork belly, and banana toffee cake.

#2 Nina May: This cozy Shaw spot is serving up its unique Chef’s Choice set menu for its Restaurant Week $40 dinner. The family style restaurant offers seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms in five courses like polenta fritters, crispy catfish, cacio e pepe, and roasted chicken.
