Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The Jenn Smira Team hosted our first annual charity pickleball event for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide. Research is the reason there are more than 4 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. but there’s still work to be done. We plan to do this again next year!

So Kids SOAR:

Our very own Kaushik Rath at The Jenn Smira Team is a board member of SOAR. So Kids SOAR provides free adaptive athletic, recreational, and skill-building activities that empower youth with physical and developmental disabilities to Strive, Own, Achieve, and Realize their potential. An estimated 75,000 people were living with disabilities in 2010 in DC, 6,000 of which were children between the ages of 5 and 17.

Haymakers For Hope

Our very own Elvin Merlo at the Jenn Smira Team competed and raised over $70,000 for Haymakers for Hope in 2021. We are so proud of Elvin! See more here.
