After having a house in the market for over a year, Jenn came into our lives like (a literal) angel. She guided us through an extremely complex situation, helped us resolve very complicated problems and against all odds, managed to sell the house at an excellent price. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. Her instincts, her tenacity, and her optimism are incredible traits. She is not only a wonderful agent but also a wonderful person.

It took us several tries–at least three–before finding Douglas Morningstar, our quietly remarkable real estate representative at Compass. But it was worth it.

Reassuring from the start, Doug knew how to help us define what we wanted, and, more importantly, needed, and consistently sent us helpful photographic material illustrating the variety of apartments within our parameters that Compass had to offer.

Doug backed this up with visits to properties, often at a moment’s notice, with detailed knowledge and with constant support. Patient in the extreme and unobtrusive, he was always “there” for us over the several-year period during which we looked for our “pied à terre.”

And he found it for us. Practically perfect according to our requirements. Moreover, he managed to pull together all the administrative strings necessary to secure a closing on a very tight schedule.

In short, we lucked out. Just by chance we saw a Compass sign, and just by chance we came to know and respect Doug. But chance only goes so far. In this case, coincidence was backed up by sophisticated expertise, widespread connections and technical innovation. And we now look forward with pleasure to
enjoying our new home and–to having found a new friend.
