#2 Downtown Holiday Market
Two blocks of F Street — from 7th to 9th Northwest — make up downtown DC’s outdoor holiday shopping village, which runs through December 23rd. You can buy bites and hot beverages while you shop, not to mention browse seasonal goods from more than 70 exhibitors. This year, they’re even adding a stage for live entertainment and performances!

History, mulled wine, and German inspirations come together in the Heurich House Museum’s Castle Garden for the annual Christmas Market. The lineup this December features more than 50 small-scale makers, an exhibition about Chr. Heurich Brewing Co.’s Senate Beer, and ornament-making for children. For the first time ever in its 12 year history, this year’s Christmas Market will be held for an entire week from Friday, December 6th to Friday, December 13th.
